4. I come to class fully prepared (having read and thought about assigned material; having composed assigned work; having formulated questions and ideas for discussion).      
5. I bring all required materials with me.      
6. I organize distributed materials and keep them with me for reference at home and in school.      
7. I complete assignments by starting early and wisely using the time allotted.      
8. I submit assignments when they’re due.      
9. I make positive contributions to class discussion and monitor my participation to allow for others’ contributions.

11. I make good use of class time for composing, reading, discussing, workshopping, and responding to workshopping.
