Eulogy
A eulogy is a speech delivered at the funeral or memorial service in honor of the deceased person. Typically, the eulogy is delivered by a loved one, although sometimes a religious cleric will deliver one. Because a eulogy is a fairly short speech, lasting perhaps no more than fifteen minutes at the most, it does not cover the entirety of a person's lifetime. Instead, a eulogy focuses on some particular aspect of the person's experiences or achievements.

When Ronald Reagan, several eulogies were delivered, including one by each of his children. All three eulogies may be read by following this link. Each is unique, reflecting the individual's memories of his or her father.
